             At Ananad Ashram every senior member gets a "Senior Citizen ID Card". Which is issued by the state government and therefor its authenticity cannot be doubted. This card gives a feeling of identity, recognition and self esteem to every senior citizen
        Thid is well designed laminated card has the date of birth, blood group, ailment if any and allergies applicable to holder of the card along with the medication presently being administered, along with the address and emergency contact numbers.
        Utility of the card in case of a medical emergency is obvious. In Maharashtra the card holder enjoys the following additional entitlement:

  • Travel concession : rail, road and air,
  • Discounted rates in private hospital, no charges in government hospital,
  • Half percent extra rate of interest in banks,
  • 9 % rate of interest on investment in the post office,
  • Priority hearing in the High Court,
  • 25 % Discount in MTNL monthly rentals,
  • Separate Q at the railway station ticket counters,
  • Income tax relief

        Since this card is issued by the goverment no one can deny the authenticity of this card.

        At 'Anand Ashram', we host a variety of activities along with entertainment and fun, whereby we make an endeavor to bring back the life in these souls. A typical fun plan for the day would consist of
